Priya's Letter to Dr. George Jacob Accompanying Her Contribution

Dearest Kunjupappen Appachen:

Enclosed please find my donation to the Pullolickal family trust. It is only a small amount. In my present situation [after many months of volunteer work in Cambodia and Italy and in preparation to begin medical college], I do not have funds to contribute the full amount at this time.

Please accept this as a reflection of my love and respect for the family as a whole but for the senior members in particular. I wish I could have known them better. I hope as I begin my medical studies and further prepare for a career in International medicine and Public health, I can continue the sense of community and social service for which you have set a strong precedent.

I hope to make you proud as I am so proud of all of you.
